Happy Friday Bloggy Homies!!! It's been a wintery mix the past few days and looks like more snow is coming my way. YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! For those of you that don't live in areas where snow happens let me tell you about how a lot of people act when snow is on the forecast. They panic and run to the store and stock up on food like they will be stuck in the house for A WHOLE YEAR. The things they stock up on most are eggs, milk, and bread. I don't know if they are going to be eating a lot of French Toast or bread cereal or eat lots of egg sandwiches w/ a big ole glass of milk. The possibilities are endless!!! The past 2 times it's snowed where I live, I was actually one of those people that had to go to the store. Not because I thought I wouldn't be able to leave my house for A WHOLE YEAR, but because I ran out of ingredients. The one time Rushy and I ran out of milk. We desperatly needed some for our cereal. DESPERATELY!!!!!! The Cinnamon Life and Frosted Flakes were taunting us from the cabinet. I was embarrassed to go to the store and get the milk. I didn't want the check out people to think I was one of "those" people. In my mind I reasoned "if you buy the little carton of milk, they will know you don't think the world is going to end". I could tell by the look in her eyes she thought I was one of "them". I wanted to explain, but instead I hung my head and did a different kind of walk of shame to my car. The next snow storm I needed eggs...WHY ME!???!!!??? I was starting having a panic attack just thinking of the judging stares I would get walking to the egg aisle. This time I was smarter though. I didn't go to a checkout person. NO folks, I went to the self checkout line. There was no one there to judge me but myself....also, just in case anyone was watching me get the eggs, I grabbed the little carton just to prove a point.

The same thing always happens to me...everytime it snows I have to go to the grocery to fight the crazies who are out buying milk, eggs, bread, and their sidewalk salt. I always feel stupid too but it's usually go to the grocery or eat the dogs.
I think if you had grabbed some Pillsbury cookie dough and a couple of bags of chips WITH the milk, you would have thrown the checkout ladies off the scent.
Ugh!! Why do people do this?! Everytime we get a big snow storm coming the first thing to go in the store is bread, milk and those eggs. I mean really....how many meals can be made out of that? Hope you stay warm during the bad weather.
Lol, I'm beginning to hate these repeating storms...
