Most people have just a list of things they want to do before they die. I am no exception, but mine isnt' really things I want to do, but places I want to drink. I call mine the "Drinking Bucket List" (took FOREVER to come up with that title). Of course I want to go to Jamaica, Cancun, Ireland, Londan, blah blah blah. I'm talking about just places where I want to go during a specific time, for a specific reason. Here's some of the places in the Good ole USA that I have in mind, in no particular order:
Punxsutawney, PA - Groundshog Day see Punxsutawney Phil and get wasted with the lil dude!
South Bend, IN - Notre Dame University with my Grandpa and see a football game
New Orleans, LA - during Mardi Gras and party on Bourbon Street
Key West, FL - hang at the original Margaritaville
Boston, MA - St. Patty's day for the parade and the Pub Crawl
Killington, VT - This one is for Rushy because he loves to ski. He's been there before but I haven't. He can ski, I will drink in the lodge. I like snow and mountains as long as I am inside warm with beer in hand.
Memphis, TN - I want to see Graceland and tip some out for my homie Elvis
Philadelphia, PA - wait, let me finish. I know I live in the area, but there is something I have always wanted to do. I want to rent a hotel room on Broad Street for New Years Eve and then watch the Mummers Parade from a nice heated spot with a bathroom. Also, not have to worry about cops giving me a hard time for drinking.
I'm sure some of you were wondering "what about Las Vegas". Nah, not really in to gambling and hookers. This is all I've got so far. I'm sure lots more will be added to the list as I get older! Any of my bloggy peeps out there have any place they might like to make me aware of for my Drinking Bucket List?

Don't forget to come down here to Louisville, KY for the Kentucky Derby...get wasted on Mint Juleps with regular guests like Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Kid Rock, and Paris Hilton...and me!!
That is a pretty good list. I agree with you about wanting to get trashed with Phil. That would be fun.
I've done the Key West and New Orleans drinking and you must get on it. It is so much fun to drink in both of those places!
I'm dying to go to Savannah, GA, I don't know why... I just know I'll love it!
um this list pretty much rocks! BTW my Dad's whole family lives in South Bend and he went to ND, let me know when you go, I'll come drink with you. lol
But I have to say the P.Phil idea is my favorite!
I have a "baby list" of things i want to do before I'm responsible for other people. I'm so lame. But i think I'm going to delete that list and replace it with fun stuff like this...mostly because learning to sew and read a bunch of books doesn't sound nearly as fun as drinking in New Orleans during Mardi Gras.

Great list, and as a guy who has to visit Vegas 4-5 times a year (family lives there) you definitely are not missing anything by not having it on the list.
Not in the US, but I ADORE me some tequila!!! So my number one trip is to Jalisco, Mexico for the Tequila Trail. Drunkalicious!!
I have to say that the original Margaritaville was a bit of a let down. GASP I know...I mean Key West is AWESOME but I wasn't overly impressed. Did I buy the shit out of the gift shop there anyway--you bet your ass I did! It may have had something to do with being so sun poisoned and hung over that I couldn't drink there though. hahaha. Definately worth a trip to see Key West in general...awesome!

You should visit put in bay in ohio, its a drinking island with golf carts! and the longest bar in the world, that should be on your list foe show!

Shower - glad to know I'm not missing anything. I just never understood the appeal.
Donnetta - Tequila Trail!!! never heard of it and now I want to be a part of it!
Jewels - I heard in Key West you can drink on the streets...that's another thing that appeals to me
