I really believe sometimes I should be a professional photographer. The picture below was taken from my cell phone, but I still think it captures the essence of what it means to be an American:
I know it brought a tear to your eyes, don't lie. I went to the beach over the 4th of July weekend. I wasn't sure if I was in the mood to go, because of all the traffic, the crowds, the heat (we stayed at Rushy's parents place it is has NO air conditioning). We waited until 5 am on Saturday to leave, NO TRAFFIC. We only stayed on the one side of the bay where most people are on the other side where the beach is, NO CROWDS. We had an amazing breeze coming off the bay, NO HEAT. What really changed my mood though was when I opened the fridge as soon as we got there and saw that Star Spangled Budweiser just waiting in there nice and cold. It was just waiting for me to consume it and I didn't disappoint the dear sweet can. I chugged, I guzzled, I conquered!

Glad you were able to have fun on the 4th. I worked and I was not happy about it.
I would have shot my boss if I had to work...2nd Amendment of the Constitution allows us the Right to Bear Arms and the 173rd Amendment allows us to shoot our bosses if they make us work on the holiday...I think? LOL

We had those beers all weekend. Well, I should say, I bought them, but shared with others - who were wearing wife beaters and do-rags on their heads. Pretty cans, tho!
